About us:

Making a meaningful difference with mission-critical software that empowers communities to thrive.

ReadyTech is more than just a one-trick pony playing in one market with one product, or one customer. We re-imagine, design, develop and deliver technology to solve our customer’s diverse problems – supporting multiple businesses across a variety of markets to be ready for anything.

We’re an ASX-listed company which means we are stable, have a strong track record of sustainable growth and have a significant number of long-term customers.  So, what does this mean for you? It means we can offer you an experience that will push you to be your best, provide career-building challenges, and that will offer you numerous growth opportunities that can’t be found in any other company.

It’s an inclusive environment where there is no place for politics, where we get our heads together to solve the problems that really matter to our customers, and where we always stay focused on our north star – the communities we serve, and society at large.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role will be pivotal in driving targeted outreach that aligns closely with our marketing campaigns and strategies, ensuring a seamless connection between our marketing efforts and sales pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying high potential leads, leveraging marketing-driven insights and messaging to engage prospects effectively and fuel the top of the sales funnel.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, CX & Corporate Communications and working closely with the Marketing & CX and Sales teams, this is an exciting opportunity for a driven and collaborative individual who thrives on being at the intersection of marketing and sales. You are a natural communicator with a talent for building relationships, a relentless focus on achieving goals, and a passion for sales that is both data-driven and strategically aligned with marketing initiatives.

To excel in this role, you will need to be highly organised, enjoy working in tandem with marketing to fine-tune outreach strategies, and have a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. You’ll be a key player in executing targeted outreach that not only generates leads but also amplifies the impact of our marketing campaigns. If you’re excited by the prospect of making an immediate impact in a dynamic environment where your contributions will be closely tied to marketing, sales and revenue success, this role is for you.

Knowledge & Skills required:

  • Familiarity with the basics of sales funnels, lead generation, and the alignment between marketing campaigns and sales outreach.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) and other sales tools for managing leads and tracking interactions
  • Awareness of digital marketing tactics, such as email campaigns, social media outreach, and SEO, to effectively complement marketing activity
  • Experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, or similar roles where outreach and engagement were key responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems, with a proven track record of managing and maintaining accurate data.
  • Experience in researching and analysing market data, prospect information, or similar activities to support lead generation efforts.
  • Proven ability to thrive in dynamic settings where adaptability and quick decision-making are essential.
