Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customise, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications to meet specific business needs of the State and Local Govt..
  • Develop reports within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application
  • Design and implement APIs and integrations with other ReadyTech’s enterprise solutions, ensuring data consistency and streamlined processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Business Central functionality, integrations, and performance.
  • Maintain documentation for all customisations, configurations, and integration processes.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet specifications and business requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of Dynamics 365 Business Central, as well as best practices in integration and development.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Ensure “shift left” testing policies are implemented, with unit testing being part of each code release
  • Adhere to the rules in place for our source control management (ie. Git)
  • Participate in Lightning Talk sessions to share knowledge amongst the group
  • Participate in software architecture discussions/workshops
  • Continue to contribute to our CI/CD strategy

 

Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Centra
  • Full working rights and based in Australia, with a capital city preference
