ReadyTech Procurement Solutions (formerly Open Windows Software est.1994) is one of Australia's leading modular procurement software vendors specialising in end-to-end solutions for Government and Commercial enterprises wishing to transform their procurement and contract management processes to reduce corporate risk and achieve compelling benefits realisation. Our software is predominantly used in Government (all levels), Healthcare, Education, Asset Intensive industries, Retail, and Services.

We are seeking an Enterprise Software Sales professional to continue to grow our business, leveraging our existing client base in Australia and New Zealand.

Experience in enterprise software application strategic selling with a proven track record in Procurement or ERP solutions is required.

This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and we work 2-3 days in the office.

This business development position is focused on supporting ReadyTech’s growth and client success plans. This will involve:

  • Regular and persistent outbound contact, i.e. prospecting into our niche markets
  • Proactive networking with prospective clients to generate new business sales opportunities
  • Selling our value proposition and being able to clearly understand and articulate our differentiators
  • Development and execution of winning sales strategies for specific sales opportunities
  • Leveraging our focused marketing campaigns designed to generate demand and local presence
  • Representing us at industry conferences and events, e.g. attendance, thought leadership/speaking opportunities, running exhibitor stands, and networking
  • Development of outstanding professional quality “winning proposals & tender responses”
  • Developing trust-based client/prospect relationships
  • Delivering added value to clients/prospects while continually demonstrating integrity
  • Selling internally to ensure our team is on board with your commercial approach and client expectations
  • Quality and timely execution of various sales administration duties to help the broader
  • ReadyTech team support your sales efforts and avoid unnecessary confusion during post sales project delivery
  • Performing the role in alignment with ReadyTech’s values

Skills & Experience required:

  • Enterprise sales of ERP or procurement systems
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets – we want to you achieve, if not exceed your On Target-Earnings
  •  Strong sales orientation and commitment to excellent Customer service with high integrity
  • Ambitious and highly motivated self-starter, driven to succeed
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, technology and approaches
  • Demonstrable application of strategic and/or consultative sales experience in an enterprise applications software environment
  • Strong phone presence and experience in cold calling based on well-prepared industry specific pitches
  • Experience facilitating presentations / demonstrations in selling the value of enterprise software applications
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence with key stakeholders and decisions makers within client/ prospect organisations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master level ‘winning' proposal writer/authoring and ability to develop associated bid strategies
  • Effective negotiation skills – establishing value and being able to negotiate win/win scenarios
  • Ability to run multiple sales campaigns concurrently
  • Effective prioritisation skills and initiative
